Josey starts her handling class.

I want to thank Noel Clarke for making this possible! He has an incredible way with Josey! Josey gets excited when it's time to go to class. She sees me get her show lead and collar, and she is ready to go! She loves Noel, Walter and Gypsy. Gypsy is Noel and Walter's beautiful brindle bitch out of Winterlochen Great Danes.

Josey acts like a different puppy in the ring, serious and focused.

She is also going places now hoping to get her accustomed to new sights and sounds, people, and animals. She continues to become more self-confident as we walk to the grocery store almost daily amid traffic, big trucks, grocery carts, small children, automatic opening doors, etc. We also go to a nearby park to traverse the trails whenever we can.

The girl just wants to have FUN!

A troubing recurring urinary tract infection keeps Josey on antibiotics most of the time. She also gets puppy acne on her chin frequently.

She does not go out in public until she has had her vaccinations.

June & July

Josey is Miss Personality Plus! She is Attitude on 4 legs! That's her!

Likes: toys, her soccer ball, going for walks, visiting Grandma, pestering Moose, playing with the garden hose on a hot day, peanut butter, squashing Hobbes.

Dislikes: Going potty in the rain, the loud and scary garbage truck, and bees (been stung twice!)

Lyn's comment: It was devastating to lose Alyce. She was (and still is) a big part of me. I miss her every day. Don't let anyone tell you it gets easier. It is still difficult. But having Josey in my life helps. How can one not fall in love with her? She makes me laugh daily. She gets me out of the house, and helps me to forget my problems. She is a blessing in a Great Dane puppy suit.
