Commissioned Artwork Having a portrait painted of your beloved pet is one of the most enduring ways of paying tribute to his or her memory. While Lyn would prefer to meet with your pet and make preliminary sketches, many times the pet has already crossed the bridge and that is not possible, or distance does not allow for meeting personally. In cases where traveling to observe a pet is not possible, or if the pet has already passed, Lyn does wonderful work from clear photos, and/or videotapes. Lyn also offers a 15% discount to Senior Citizens on portraits of their pets. Note: Even though he client purchases the painting,
the artist
retains the rights to the artwork. This means that the artist retains and reserves the right to use the artwork in reproductions (prints), or in applications on other products. NEW for 2002! Everyone who orders a portrait of their pet will receive (free) one set of note cards (10 notes/10 cards) featuring the image of their portrait. Note cards featuring your portrait make for a unique and beautiful way to say hello to family and friends. See below for examples of commissioned work. |
