About Us

Hello, my name is Lyn. I hope you enjoy looking at my artwork as much as I do creating it. My studio is located in our home. Everyday I am grateful and feel blessed to be able to work in my home art studio, where I can be with my 2 dogs and cat. My furkids and I love being together. I have added a few pictures of my "Gang" below. Sadly, we have lost two beloved members of our furfamily within the last two years.

I hope you enjoy this little peek into our world. Thank you for looking and please visit my art gallery again soon.

This is our home and studio. We don't get snow in North Carolina often, so this is a favorite picture of mine. Look closely and perhaps you can see Hobbes sitting in the window!

This is Moose. He's 10 years old and 160 pounds of Great Dane love sponge. His favorite things are; going for walks, napping, snuggling on the couch, going for rides, cool weather, watching his little brother Hobbes play. His pet peeves are; people who think he will slobber on them, any kinds of bugs, and hot weather.

This is Charlene. She is a Great Dane youngster. We were fortunate to get her from Marnie Baker in Atlanta, GA. She's quite a little beauty and can be a little stinker sometimes as well :) . Her favorite things are; play play playing, chasing Hobbes the cat, snuggling with us and Moose. Her pet peeves are; She's too young to have any just yet.

This is Hobbes. He is a 3 year old Orange cat.. When he was 6 weeks old, we found him. He had been abandoned, dumped out from a car, and rescued by my hubby and I. Hobbes is a sweetie! His favorite things are: leaping into a brown paper bag & making lots of noise, walking on any tabletop available, making toys out of any bit of paper he finds, his big brother Moose. His pet peeves are: his new Great Dane puppy sister, Charlene, and being told what to do.
Mewday: June 2001

Here's a picture of Moose and Charlene. The way Moose has accepted Charlene into the home is a testament to his great depth of character, dignity, and dependability. He truly is a gentle giant, and a credit to his breed. Note: on Tuesday, February 5, 2002, Moose had a cancerous mast cell tumor removed from his left rear leg on his thigh. Pathology report shows that all the cancer cells were removed. 2003 came around and 2 more mast cell cancer tumors were removed from Moose; the left ear, and his neck. Both were grade number 2 MCT's. Each day is a precious gift with this wonderful being, and not one minute with him is taken for granted.

In Loving Memory
October 17, 1989 - March 22, 2004
This is Great Dane Miss Alyce B. Goode (Alyce). We lost our sweet girl to cancer (osteosarcoma) on March 22, 2004. Alyce was our sweet baby girl, and life will never be the same without her. On this side of Heaven, her favorite things to do were: eating, eating, snoozing, eating, going for rides, going for walks, sunbathing, chasing pesky squirrels. Her pet peeves were: stranger cats, squirrels that laugh at her from the treetop, getting her nails trimmed, Hobbes grabbing her feet. Now, she waits on the other side for us to join her.

Skitzi
April 1990 - September 2002

This is Skitzi. She was our crazy cat, said in an affectionate way. We found her when she was 4 weeks old, sick and had to be bottle fed. She grew up to be the queen of everything she saw. Her Majesty was beautiful and she knew it. On this side of Heaven, her favorite things were: eating, taking long baths, sunning herself, chasing field mice that get in the house in the winter. Her pet peeve was: Hobbes, the new cat addition to the furfamily. We miss Skitzi everyday. I'm sure she is waiting beside Alyce for us to join her someday...well, maybe not Hobbes :O)
